This project aims to solve a problem of students not being able to tell how full the fitness center is without physically going to the facility. Sensor data will be used to determine if a person passes through the doorway and in which direction they are moving to keep a count of the number of people in the fitness center at a given moment in time. Prediction algorithms may be run on that data to determine the number of people expected to be in the fitness center a chosen time in the future.
