Das Erstaunliche bei vielen Open-Source-Software (OSS) Projekten ist, dass trotz des Fehlens von Anweisungsrechten, klaren Aufgabenteilungen und Aufgabenzuordnungen oder gar eindeutigen Arbeitsprozessen kein Chaos bei der Entwicklung derartiger Software herrscht, sondern Software entsteht, die teilweise in Bezug auf Stabilität und Qualität klassisch proprietär entwickelter Software überlegen ist. Dennoch ist es nicht so, dass Open-Source- Software quasi selbstorganisierend entsteht und keinerlei organisatorischer Hilfsmittel bedarf, vielmehr werden diese Projekte durch eine spezielle Organisation von Innovation zum Erfolg geführt.<sup>1</sup> [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
