The functional shortcomings of the architectures of interactive distributed computer systems (IDCS) are analyzed and identified, and the directions for their improvement are substantiated. The algorithms for data formation and processing based on orthogonal functions that generate non-positional numeral systems are investigated. The IDCS's star–trunk and star–ring architectures, which feature a high level of parallelization in data exchange processes, have been developed. Taking into account the need to optimize information processing at the lower levels of IDCS, structures of special-purpose processors for analog–digital and statistical data processing are developed. The microelectronic structures of analog-to-digital converters (ADC) of unfolding type with output multifunctional codes in the Rademacher–Krestenson and Haar–Krestenson bases are implemented, which increases the computation speed and accuracy. The results of the study enhance the architectures of interactive distributed computer systems and improve their system characteristics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
